Hello and welcome. We are here to support adults, couples, young people and children with the general challenges of being a human. This can be hard enough in itself but often includes extra difficulties such as …depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, grief….and many others besides.
Sometimes when life feels distressing, confusing or overwhelming we can begin to have difficulty living our everyday lives with even basic tasks becoming a struggle. When mind and body are in distress, our reality can become distorted which feels all encompassing and can affect everything we feel, say and do. Professional therapy allows you the exclusive opportunity to challenge this distorted perspective and regain clarity. It is a valuable gift to self, leading to personal insight and empowerment. We will invite you to learn the psychological and emotional tools with which to aid becoming a more contented human being.
Counselling involves being able to share your difficult issues, along with your thoughts, feelings and emotions, in a safe, secure environment, working with an empathic and impartial qualified counsellor. This can enable you to explore these issues confidentially, openly and without fear of judgement. Our rooms are warm and welcoming where we will sit and chat, working together within a therapeutic relationship to support you as you start to make sense of your life again.

The Integrative Approach is the core foundation of how we work at The Therapy Collective. We value the therapeutic benefits of building a strong client-therapist working relationship. This approach utilises and integrates several established models of talking therapy, (as well as our range of specialist techniques), rather than relying upon just one, thereby drawing upon knowledge from many highly effective therapeutic practices.

These models and interventions can be skilfully and seamlessly integrated into a session according to our intuitively felt needs of the client at that time – whatever may be best applied to bring about beneficial and lasting change
Therapy prices will vary between practitioners operating here at The Therapy Collective and some start from £35 per 50 minute session. We advise you to ask your individual therapist for their own personal scale of charges
